Christmas Parties Everywhere

Christmas is a fun time for us Filipinos. This is usually the time when we forget that we are on a diet. It is a time when we forget ill feelings towards each other. It is a time for peace. Negative feelings are put on a pause.

Another great thing about this holiday is the party. There are actually Christmas parties everywhere. Even my daughter attended 2 christmas parties this season. My husband has his share of parties too. In fact, he will be having another one tomorrow. I am sure there will be champagne and merlot wine. Since the owner of their company is a generous guy, I am sure they will even come direct from the napa valley. This made me think of my sister who is asking for super dark chocolate from my sister who is coming back home for the holidays. Actually, she left the country for a seminar and will be back in time for Christmas.  So anyways, my sister said that super dark chocolate goes well with red wine. I checked it out at Tidingsmag.com and what she said was true.  Aside from that fact, the site even features several red wine friendly recipes and white wine friendly recipes. So we can have like an adult Christmas eve dinner party. I am sure my mom will approve of that since my dad is not around. Hehe!
