Usually what my daughters' wear depend on what my mood is or what I am feeling at the moment. So there was a time when I feeling sort of sporty so I let my youngest wear a cheeringdancing/ tennis player sort of outfit. Lol!

Speaking of medical uniform, I just remembered that my cousin is flying to London tomorrow. She will be working as a nurse at one of the hospitals there. I do not know if she already has medical scrubs or if the hospital that she will be working for will be providing a set for her to wear. I am sure they will. One of my youngest's outfits. Actually, this is also a hand-me-down from her older sister. I honestly can no longer recall where this came from. But even if it's old it still looks new noh?

This is my daughter when she wore this about a month ago.

Time really flies by so fast. I know that before I know it, my eldest will be asking me to buy her tween girl dresses. Oh no! I do not want to think about that just yet. She is growing up so fast. Just last weekend, I found out that her shoe size is already 5! can you believe it? I was really shocked and happy at the same time. Happy because I can already shoe shop with her. Shocked because I still think of her as my baby girl.

Anyways, I hope that I will hear from my hubby's niece really soon. I think she will buy a dress for their school dance and I already volunteered to go with her. I like to shop even if it's not for me or my kids. I met her when she was only 3 years old and now she is already shopping for their school dance. I am sure before I know it my daughter will be asking us for money for the same thing. I just hope that she also asks me to shop with her.

Since she is the youngest female in our family now she has all these clothes that were worn by her older relatives. Like this for example, this was from her cousin Bella. It is a gerber onesies that was brought in the US by their grandmother. Her hat was from her older sister who wore this for a few times when she was still a baby.

It was a good thing that it was passed on when it did because it fits her just right. Picture taken last month at home after we went to my sister's condo unit in QC.

Anyways, I remembered at that time my sister and her family did not know that we were planning on going there. It was my sister's birthday that week and she was not planning on celebrating it because of all the work that she in the office that week. That could not be and so we went there to celebrate her birthday with her. Actually, we were a little late because we had a few errands to do before we can go to my sister's place. Aside from grocery shopping, I had to check out different class rings for my daughter's class. Yes, the moms were planning on having one made for the kids. It is sort of a remembrance for the year that was. While I was there checking out different designs for them, I saw several nice mothers rings and a unique claddagh ring. I showed the ones the ones that I are really nice to the moms and up until now they haven't decided which one is the best. When we got there all my other sisters and their families were already there. My mom was not there because there were a couple of things she had to do but she wanted to go on the exact date of my sister's birthday.

Well, I think 2011 is going to be very good to me. I can already feel it. Everything is becoming clearer. I know what path to take. Plus jobs are being offered to me left and right to make it happen and so I am afraid that my blogging has to take a backseat for awhile. I will be lucky if I get 4 hours of sleep I guess. But I am not complaining. Believe me. I am grateful. The only thing left to make my year right is for me to get paid. A Short Road Trip

Yesterday I felt so bad that I had to get out of the house. And so I took the car and the kids with me and left. I did not know where we will go and what we will do. What I do know is I had to breathe and think. I wanted to be alone but I couldn't leave my youngest because I am directly breastfeeding her and I do not have any spare stash in the freezer. I haven't pumped in awhile. My eldest didn't want to be left behind and she begged to come too and so I drove for 3 hours straight.

I actually wanted to go to Tagaytay but I am not so good with directions and so we went around and around until I noticed that we were already at Taytay. Haha! At least the names were almost the same diba. Some kind of the same place but not quite. Actually, I was not sure about my first choice because I know that my hubby wanted to have a brake job for that car. I did not want for me and my kids to have an accident on something that was really meant to take my mind off things. I did not want to cause more problems for the problems that we are already having. So anyways the reason why I chose the route of Taytay because of this Chevrolet Silverado. It was so beautiful that it led me to where we were until it turned right and I did not want to go left or right so I can find my way back home just in case I wanted to go back already. So it was getting dark already and houses became few and far between that I got scared. What if the car broke down? What if we ran out of gas? What if we needed a repair shop, as reliable as Dallas auto repair, to help us and we could not find one? I could handle it if I was all by myself but I had 2 kids with me and so I had to turn back. Plus the fact that my eldest was getting scared already that she kept on saying.. let's go back mom. let's go back mom. I had to go back after she began a countdown. Hehehe! And so we were back at home, safe and sound, at 9 pm last night.

Christmas is a fun time for us Filipinos. This is usually the time when we forget that we are on a diet. It is a time when we forget ill feelings towards each other. It is a time for peace. Negative feelings are put on a pause.

Another great thing about this holiday is the party. There are actually Christmas parties everywhere. Even my daughter attended 2 christmas parties this season. My husband has his share of parties too. In fact, he will be having another one tomorrow. I am sure there will be champagne and merlot wine. This made me think of my sister who is asking for super dark chocolate from my sister who is coming back home for the holidays. Plans For The Coming Year

One of the plans that I have for myself for the next year is to learn how to cook. This is my challenge to myself for next year. I am thinking on whether I should enroll in a cooking school or will the recipes at tidingsmag.com will do. I am already checking out several recipes such as chicken recipes, healthy recipes and others and I am quite impressed with the wide selection at the site.

If I will be able to do it, I will be able to have a healthy diet as I can dictate what I will eat in the following years. The great thing is it will not only be me but my whole family. This is also another goal that I have.. not necessarily to be thinner but to be more healthy. I haven't been eating right and I am well aware of that. So this is a proactive stand to take care of myself and my family.

My Christmas Plan

One of the things that I plan to do once I get paid with this entity who owes me is spend a night or two at a hotel. Every year we always do that. There is this hotel, which is a favorite hotel of mine, because of the heated pool that they have. I also love the hotel uniforms that their staff wear all year round. This year we skipped because of my pregnancy, my cs operation and the baby. Now that I am okay I am sure that we can spend the night or nights depending on how much I will get paid. I am sure my hubby will be delighted because it is going to be my treat. I will be delighted as well because the hotel is near a mall so we can hit two birds with one stone. We can shop until we drop and we can drop anytime we want to.

I am wondering if they have spa amenities. I would like to go to one just so I can pamper myself even for a day. I wonder how I am going to do it with my baby who seems to be hungry all day long. She directly nurses from me. She rejects the bottle. Let me correct that. She rejects the bottle if I am not the one giving it to her. So I would have to scrap this plan. I know I haven't been blogging much. I have been very busy with my offline life. I was not fully aware that having 2 kids can take a toll on a mother. I wonder how my mom did it. The truth is we need to socialize once in a while. Man is a social being and he needs to interact with others. The best way to interact with a lot of people is through parties. Have you started with your Christmas list yet? I haven't. I haven't even made my list yet. I am sure it will not be that different from last year's list. Hehehe! Though, I will have to add a few people because of a number of additions to the family. So anyways, even if I haven't been buying yet I have been scouting and window shopping so whenever I do get the time to start on that list, it will all be fast and easy. I am hoping this is the technique for a stress free way to Christmas shop.

One of the things that I am thinking of getting for a few of my nieces and nephews are outdoor sportswear especially since they will no longer appreciate toys. They are already at the stage when they feel that they are all grown up. Quite frankly, I still think they should be playing with toys. I remember when I was at that age, I still loved to play with my dolls.

Back to my list... Those who are younger than them will definitely receive toys but those spygear toys that they all seem to love. I can actually be really useful at times like this spy vision goggles that my daughter bought last week. It was a definite hit among kids! Even my husband loved it. Babies will definitely receive baby things. I haven't decided yet whether to give out baby clothes or baby toys. Lastly, adults will be the last people on my list. My sister is about to give birth. Actually, she will be giving birth any day now and we are all excited and nervous at the same time. We have been giving her advices when it comes to giving birth, breastfeeding to taking care of the baby. I even referred her to this breastfeeding seminar last Saturday. She needs all the information that she can get so she knows what she should do. That was what actually helped me take care of my eldest. I attended all the seminars and classes that I could attend before I gave birth. You should have seen me. I dragged my reluctant husband everywhere just so I could attend these classes which turned out to be really useful because I still apply what I have learned to my youngest. So anyways, since I will have another nephew I was already looking for a Christmas gift for him come December. I might not have time to shop so I shop when I can. One of the most useful things that breastfeeding moms should have are breast pads. It can keep your tops and your brassieres dry... so no embarrassing leaks to worry about. Well, right now I am running out of disposable breast pads. I have to go out and buy a box or 2. One box contains 20 pairs of disposable pads. I found these really cheap pads (well, compared to Pigeon's anyways) that can last me a week or 2. They only cost around Php100.00/box. So they are really cheap and practical especially for moms who are on a tight budget.

I bought these washable ones but they are completely totally useless. As in, it doesn't absorb the milk and just goes through so do not trust them... hmm... the ones that I bought anyways. So this got me to search for washable ones over the 'net because I stay at home all the time anyways so it is more economical this way. This search led me to different breast forms including Crossdresser breast forms. We all have different uses for different things and we all want to look nice and presentable especially when the occasion calls for it. So right now I need my disposable breast pads for breastfeeding moms. That's what I need and that's what I am going to get.

Saving Up For A Possible All Inclusive Carribean Trip

We stayed right at home today which is unusual for us since we always go out on Sunday especially after the Sunday Service. It can be due to the fact that we expected heavy traffic on all major roads. So we avoided being trapped right smack in the middle of traffic which is exactly what happened to us yesterday. Plus the fact that we are getting tired of going to the mall especially since we do not have anything to buy anyways.

So I was thinking of skipping going to the mall for around a year to save up for a trip. My sister-in-law, Mavic, suggested it last thursday. She said that we should start saving right now for a trip next year. I do not know exactly where she is thinking we all should go (maybe an all inclusive carribean trip) but she is willing to keep the money until then. It is actually a good idea though I do not think anyone was listening that time except for me. Hehehe! I guess it just goes to show that I am the only one who wants to go on a vacation and my sil of course. The question is can we do it? Can we save up for any of the caribbean hotels? I guess it is possible especially if we are all dead set on going. I am willing to sacrifice my mall trips in exchange for a caribbean resort hotel... yes I am willing to do that and I know that it will be worth it.

Anniversary And Gifts

Our anniversary is coming up. We will be celebrating our 7th year as husband and wife. But if you add up our years as bf and gf, I think it will be a total of 10 years. Time really does fly fast. It feels as if it was just yesterday when I said yes to him when he asked me to marry him and he gave me an engagement ring. This is probably the reason why he asked me if I wanted an iphone 4. I said not really because my nokia e71 is still working, although a bit wiggy especially the camera feature. Plus, I was thinking of getting an apad. Hahaha! But if he asked me to choose amongst all the eternity rings at www.since1910.com, I will immediately choose one. Are you ready to do your shopping? Most of the malls now are having their annual sale. They are probably letting go items from last season to make way for the Christmas season. It is just sad that the value of the dollar is so low that I am already losing money every time I convert dollar to peso so I need to curb my spending especially when it comes to shopping. The sad part about it is it will continue to decrease because the remittance of our OFW workers. Anyways, even if I am a little deflated with it, it will not stop me from doing my share of spreading Christmas cheer especially to the children. Most of the time, the smiles of the children are enough to make me feel the joy that only Christmas can bring.

So right now, you can already hear Christmas carols being played by the radio stations, you can also see Christmas decors that are already up and about at certain establishments such as the malls and some of the homes. You can also feel it in the air because it is cooler this time of the year. I love it! There are certain parts of the world where they are already starting to make use of their heaters more. I am sure my aunt and uncle are using their heater instead of their centralized airconditioning unit. The past few hours were kind of stressful because my daughter was acting up. She screamed at the top of her voice expressing her indignation because we were already telling her to go to sleep. My daughter was able to submit our family project last Wednesday when it was due. I thought we will not be able to submit our project since we needed a toner refill. I have been super stressed out these past few days for reasons unknown to me since I love both of my kids that I am the first to admit that I need a break. Last weekend at church, my daughter suddenly blurted out ... "Mom, look at me I am a fashion girl!" Then she did her walk. She is such a Groovy girl. She has all these antics that make me think that she is all grown-up and no longer a baby. Although, no matter what age she is going to be, she will always be my baby. Hehehe! She dresses herself up and chooses her clothes. The toys that she chooses are well-thought of, mostly education toys, unlike before when she chooses the first toy that she sees. My youngest brother is already decided. He is determined to shift course.He is taking up Computer Programming now and he wants to shift to Nursing. You would think that the reason why he wants to shift course is because of low grades. He does not have low grades. In fact, with his grades now he can be part of the dean's list. At first, he thought that he was failing his major. He was not. He got a decent grade. Anyways, my father was trying to dissuade him but he is determined. As for me, all I can tell him is he should be decided. Whatever it is that he plans to do next semester, he should make sure that it is what he wants and not because of a whim. Anyways, when the time comes I will refer him to a career development center if he needs it. They have job training programs. They even have online college degree program for students who prefers to study online. I am thinking of it myself since I do not have the time or the energy to get out of the house. Have you seen my youngest daughter's 1st monthsary pictures over at facebook? It made me realize just now how badly I need to back up my files especially my daughters' pictures. Having two daughters doubles the amount of pictures as well especially since I plan to document every milestone for each. Plus my eldest has all these activities at school and I plan to have as much videos and pictures that we can take. So she will be able to take a look at it when she is all grown up. I also need to document every little that my youngest daughter goes through. In my life as a highly fashionable woman, I have to admit that I never figured this out until recently. I was noticing that my daughter has taken to wearing baby legs. If you have never seen baby legs, they are a kind of stockings that come in very small sizes, so that very young children can wear them.

The question I am trying to answer in my own mind is, why exactly has she suddenly taken a liking to these things that have sat in her dresser for a couple of years? Is it because there is currently a fashion for stockings on girls? Or is it because she has a personal taste for things of this nature, and is finally getting to the point in her life where she feels comfortable expressing her own tastes? Fashion and style are two completely different things from one another, as anybody who has any personal taste can tell you.

Simply put, fashion is what is popular right now with most people. In 10 years, people will talk about the fashions of the "aughts" (I think that's what the first 10 years are called), and shake their heads at how ridiculous we look. It's happened before, it will happen again, it's kind of funny when you really think of it. But style is completely different in its individuality. When a person has style, it transcends what "everybody" is wearing right now. Take Wonder Woman, for instance. Her outfit was cool in the 1950s, and it's just as cool now. And in 20 years, it will still be cool, because it expresses her self.

One of the shops that we went to today is the bookstore. In fact, my daughter could not wait as she pulled and tugged hubby all the way to the store. When we caught up with her, I saw her reading a couple of books. She wanted me to buy so many books for her. At that time, I thought maybe I should get a card so I could Rent book whenever my daughter needs to nurture her mind and soul. Hehehe! She loves to read you see and we all know how expensive books are. So today she bought this 3D predator book.

If only I could find a library or a bookstore that provides Book rentals service I would register and become a member in a flash. Time really flies so fast. I remember there was a time when I bought her these Audio books on cd. She loved it but now that she can read on her own she prefers to just read and listen to her own voice reading out loud. Sometimes I get so amazed if I hear her read out big words all by herself. That is probably why she got an Outstanding grade in her Reading subject. They really do learn fast don't they? Today was a very busy family day for us which is actually my kind of day if you know what I mean. My daughter, Cheska, was supposed to attend this birthday party at Bounce but hubby decided at the last minute to not let our daughter attend so we will be able to spend the whole day together. I remember I have a pending request for an interview that I haven't accepted or declined. We hate it when we hear somebody die because of the traitor disease called CANCER. There are many kinds of cancer and when a person gets diagnosed with it, it is like you have been given a death sentence. Although, it is not necessarily so because you can fight it. My aunt has been diagnosed with breast cancer. I think she was in stage 4 but she is still alive and kicking.. she is still fighting for her life. She is still undergoing chemotherapy and doing well. I am so happy for her. I remember when the hospital was asking for blood, I did not think twice. I donated in an instant. I did what I could do for her. You can make a difference too. I love to read. You should see me and my sisters when we were growing up. We read everything from reader's digests to comic books to encyclopedias. I especially loved reading archie comics. It came to a point where my mom brought us to the library every weekend so we can choose around 5 books to read each week. We always come back the weekend after to return the books and get new batches of books or comic books. That happened during summer days where we will fill our days reading books. Hehehe! We were nerds but we did not care. Our dad supported our love for reading too. Every Sunday, after mass, all 9 of us (including our parents) would troop to National Book Store so we could choose one book to read each. I did not realize that our dad spent so much every weekend just to buy us books. It was a good thing too that we loved the same genre because we would exchange books once we finished with them.

I remember one of the things that I focused on while I was being operated upon was scrub sets of the doctors, resident doctors and nurses that were around me. Well, shopping for the baby does not mean that I do not shop for my eldest. My daughter's new wheels. Actually, it is quite old but I haven't blogged about it yet. These wheels can be attached to any rubber shoes so it is really practical if your kid likes to roll around as compared to the permanently attached ones because you can always transfer the wheels to another pair of rubber shoes if the old one no longer fits your kid (just like what happened to my daughter's old pair roller shoes). Boys will be boys. My husband still likes comics books. In fact, he use to have a comic book collection but the typhoon that ravaged our home destroyed them all. We were not able to save them. So all of his spiderman comic books literally went down the drain. No matter how hard he tried to hide his disappointment, especially when he saw the ruined comic books, I still noticed. However, he compensated by buying himself a couple of justice league shirts. Meanwhile, since I haven't decided what kind of gift to give him for our anniversary, I am thinking of giving him some of the best selling comics sold at newkadia.com. I can probably order the spiderman comics that he lost. I think he will be really surprised as he has asked around about where he might find them. Thank goodness a friend told me about this website. Dr. Brown's And Avent Baby Bottles

I was unable to decide what brand of baby bottles to get my little one that is about to come out and so I brought the top two brands on my list. I got my baby Dr. Brown's Baby Bottles and Avent Bottles. I have decided to just let my baby use the Dr. Brown Bottles first and then the Avent bottles later on. I just hope that the Avent bottles which are also BPA free do not leak. I have heard from a lot of mommies in my e-group that the Avent bottles that they bought leaked. The saleslady said that the bottles that I bought are the newly released ones and they no longer have that problem. Oh well, here's hoping since these bottles are expensive to start with.

Skechers Shoes

My husband is close to our first born more than ever. He can't seem to say no to her anymore. One of the latest things that the husband was not able to say no to was my daughter's skechers. Although she deserves it because she was diligent when it comes to reviewing her lessons for her quarterly exams and her unit exams a week before that. We haven't gotten the results yet but I am sure that she did very well on her exams.

I was not able to take a great picture of my daughter's new shoes. Hopefully, I will be able to find a clearer picture online. This is just a sneak peak of it.

Anyways, it would seem that our firstborn is my husband's priority now because he has even prioritized buying this first before buying a covert audio recorder which he needs at the office. Do not ask me why because I can't say. Hehehe! In fact, he was not able to get around to looking for one last weekend because something came up at the office and we all had to go with him because of the urgency of the situation. I just do not know if he was able to get down to buying one. If not, we can all look for it this weekend.
